Shereen Low

Recruitment is definitely not the industry Shereen thought she would end up in. Being with Madison for over 10 years is often surprising to people, not in the least to herself! She's been hooked by the culture and the people, as well as the opportunities to work on projects and new initiatives. Shereen can't seem to shake off the "oracle" reference (from a Myers-Briggs exercise we did) but tackles the variety in her job with the ethos "one day at a time".

Kiri Burney

In another life, Kiri would be a Silvern Fern netballer. You will see hints of that in her energy levels and in the way she approaches teamwork and leadership. On occasion you'll catch her laughing gregariously and most often than not, singing away as she goes about her work. This, she makes no apologies for - she is a true believer that you need to be yourself and not sweat the small stuff.

Simon Bennett

Simon Bennett is the CEO of the Madison Group. While people are often surprised to hear that he is not a recruiter by trade, Simon brings to Madison years of experience as a business owner, director, and manager. Driven by success and passionate about people, Simon says ‘it’s important to enjoy life – life is not a dress rehearsal’.

Justin Pipe

Justin Pipe joined the Madison Group in 2006 and is currently National Sales Director. He describes the Madison Group as a ‘group of committed, fun, values-based individuals who really want to make a difference and are proud to put their name against whatever they are doing’. What most people don't know is that Justin has an identical twin brother who is only 3 minutes older than him!

Rebecca Abernethy

Rebecca Abernethy works in pursuIT Recruitment, another company within The Madison Group. Someone once gave Rebecca the golden advice that ‘everything is better with glitter’. The same person also gave her the advice ‘stay positive’, and it was this advice that she ultimately chose to take on, as can be seen in the positivity and professionalism that she brings every day to the Christchurch office.

Kerrie Gregory

After working at KFC for seven years, moving overseas to ‘drive what was effectively a taxi service’ and a stint as a primary school teacher, Kerrie joined Madison in 2006, achieving success recruiting in both the Call Centre and Business Support space. She is now the Business Manager at Madison’s Auckland branch, which she describes as ‘a hardworking, social and outgoing bunch of driven professionals’.

Susan Gray

Joining the Madison Group in 2010, Susan Gray approaches her role as Madison’s Client Relationship Manager with positivity and diligence every day. Susan describes the Madison staff as the ‘best bunch of people [she has] ever worked with’ and jokingly suggests that if you were to walk into the Madison office, she would ‘be the one eating chocolate in the corner’!

Bessy Kim

Bessy Kim has always had a creative streak, listing ‘painter’ as the job she aspired to have as a child. Bessy now channels this creativity into her work as Marketing Assistant at the Madison Group, where she is responsible for brand development and communication between clients and candidates.

Kanna Yamasaki

Kanna Yamasaki joined the Madison Group in 2012 as a recipient of the First Foundation Scholarship. She is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce conjoint at the University of Auckland.

Kristy Ward

Kristy is the General Manager of The Madison Group in Christchurch and Wellington. She hasn't quite become the Olympic swimmer she thought she'd grow up to be, but to our gain she has chosen a career in recruitment that provides the highs that adrenalin junkies such as Kristy seek. The best advice she has ever received is to simply be authentic - something that she now passes on to her team (along with: never turn down a good cup of coffee!)

Rebecca OHagan

When Rebecca was little, she dreamt of becoming a star in Hollywood. While she claims that she realised one day that she ‘didn’t have the drama, singing ability, or pretty face for Hollywood’, she’s proven herself to be a true star here at Madison! Now a Senior Consultant at our Auckland branch, Rebecca is one of our longest standing and most successful Madisonites.

Katie Berry

Katie, originally from the UK, moved to Christchurch in 2013 and is an IT recruiter for pursuIT Recruitment (part of The Madison Group). This is quite different from being the dance teacher or actress that she thought she'd grow up to be! She must have followed the advice she was given - to keep an open mind and to never judge a book by its cover. Katie loves the warm, welcoming Christchurch office where she is always greeted with a bunch of smiles.
