With a double major (and post graduate papers in Psychology, Counselling and Linguistics) from The University of Canterbury, Wynnis entered the recruitment environment after a very diverse and successful management career in both the private and public sectors at General Management and Directorship level. Wynnis is a member of the Institute of Directors and and brings a wealth of commercial acumen, experience and understanding in leading Madison’s strategic and financial operations.

With experience from the UK and NZ spanning 2004 to date, she is a speedy operator who leads by example and does so with charm and wit. Kiri is a natural achiever and engages her clients and candidates with valuable feedback and advice. Kiri previously managed the Business Support recruitment team. She returns from maternity leave as Candidate Manager working with our Senior Consultants. Kiri holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Otago University with double majors in Marketing and Management.

Following a sales career, Katie entered the recruitment industry and amassed eight years experience from England and Australia. Having run successful industrial, construction and engineering recruitment desks, Katie joined Madison in 2010 and now specialises in technical and operations recruitment as well as sales and marketing roles. She thrives in the buzz of recruitment and has fitted right in to the team with her honest, loyal and upbeat approach.

Julie is a recruitment veteran, with 12 years experience across a range of sectors. She graduated with a BA in Education and History from Exeter in the UK. Julie started with Madison in 2005 with the set up of our very successful South East Auckland branch. She now has a busy and varied role as COO. Her supportive, insightful and energetic nature is also put to good use as she provides solutions and advice to clients on a range of organisational development value adds through the Madison Consulting division.

Hannah became part of the Madison team in 2010 after working in HR and Recruitment in the health sector. Having gained valuable internal recruitment experience, Hannah was able to make a difference as soon as she joined us. She tackles the fast pace at Madison with her excellent use of initiative, dedication and efficiency. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology from The University of Auckland.

Darren has a wealth of experience with over 13 years recruiting in Europe and Asia Pacific. After graduating with a degree in Business with Honours he joined one of UK’s largest technology recruiters, ultimately heading the European division. He then joined a niche actuarial search and selection provider. After four years, he was headhunted to become GM of the permanent division of an engineering recruitment firm and was most recently with a leading executive search firm. Darren joined The Madison Group in 2010.

David was one of the initial Madison team starting with Wynnis and Marisa in 1998. David has excelled in setting up e-commerce accounting systems and a smoothly functioning payroll system. He has a PhD in Marine Biology (which is absolutely irrelevant to his present role) and indulged his passion for blue water sailing by cruising the Pacific for three years before joining the Madison team. Having now discovered the joy of motorcycles he is working part time when the weather is bad!

Following a career in the media world, Marisa entered recruitment and enjoyed 20 successful years culminating in a National Sales Director role at a large global staffing provider prior to co-founding Madison Recruitment in 1998. Marisa is a member of Springboard New Zealand - a group of GMs and company owners who provide a channel for the next generation of Directors. Together with Wynnis, Marisa leads the strategic and financial operations and does so with creative vision and an innovative approach.

Susan worked for ten years in various sales, advertising and account management roles in the media industry before joining The Madison Group. Though new to the group in 2010, Susan has already added value with her professionalism, exceptional follow through and depth of relationships. A well liked member of the team, Susan is a naturally hard worker whose love of life and positivity is infectious. Along with Justin, she introduces our range of service offerings and ensures a high standard of service delivery.

Since joining Madison in 2006, Kerrie has achieved success recruiting in both the Call Centre and Business Support space. Her values and dedication towards fostering positive relationships with her clients and candidates ensures that the needs of both are identified to achieve a perfect employment match. Kerrie exhibits positivity and strong organisational skills - attributes that greatly benefit her team. She was previously a Manager/Trainer for a global food brands company and was a primary school teacher.

Her organisational skills and driven nature have seen Renee promoted several times since joining Madison in 2003. Having achievements such as Volume Recruiter of the year in 2006 and team leading responsibilities, Renee transferred her success and expertise into technical and operations recruitment. Returning from maternity leave in 2010, Renee is back consulting in contact centre and volume recruitment. She is results focused, amazingly efficient and thrives in an energetic and pressurised environment.

Relocating to New Zealand in 2010, Liz previously worked for five years in financial services as an Account Consultant, and in retail management. She joins The Madison Group in a newly created role where she is responsible for providing accurate information to clients and stakeholders, carries out projects to streamline processes and organises client events. Liz is a great problem solver who operates with a focus on continuous improvement. She holds a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University.

Kris is our resident IT Guru - responsible for all things technical across The Madison Group. He started with Madison in 2005 and quickly became a critical part of day to day operations. We are fortunate to benefit from his wide range of skills and up to date knowledge base. There is really nothing that Kris can't solve, and he adds huge value to the team through systems improvement, information management and his ability to bring humour to challenging situations.

Simon brings with him experience from working within both the radio and magazine industries, and running his own event management company. As one of the initial Madison team members when it was founded in 1998, Simon was critical in ensuring that external communications ran smoothly and that new strategies were utilised to secure the best possible candidates in the market for Madison's clients.

Shereen joined Madison in 2002, running a successful recruitment desk for five years. She then moved into an internal role and assisted with the Madison Consulting service offering. Her dedication, logical approach and innovative thinking is well utilised in her current role, which was created in 2010 to foster an across-the-board brand experience for clients, candidates and staff, in alignment with our vision and values. Shereen has BA/BCom degrees in Psychology and Employment Relations.

Shelley previously worked in banking where she quickly worked up the ranks in consumer lending and business banking. She then had the envious opportunity of working on super yachts as Chief Stewardess. Currently savouring her break from the water, Shelley has been such a valuable support to the volume recruitment team where she has impressed with her high standards of delivery and dedication to deliver over and above expectations. She cares about the quality of her work, and this shows through to our candidates.

Mandy is the epitome of cool, calm and collected. She joined Madison in 2007 and quickly became a well respected member of the team. Today she manages the largest temp force in Auckland whilst effortlessly handling all requests and requirements with her pro-active nature, ability to multi task and warm customer relationship skills. Mandy's clients and candidates often tell us how very fond they are of the way she operates. Prior to recruitment Mandy held managerial roles in the travel industry.

Kelly is part of what we call ‘the backbone team’. This is a very apt description of her role – she helps to hold our business together! Her responsibilities include internal payroll, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing and reconciliations. Kelly has been with Madison since 2004 and brings a vast amount of experience from ten years working in accounts for a real estate agent. She is committed, consistent and professional, and while she works hard, always finds the time to have a laugh with the team.

Rebecca is the longest serving team member having started with Madison in a support role in 2000. After several promotions, she is now responsible for some key relationships and takes the lead in the delivery of high volume projects. Rebecca's charm and strong communications skills build very positive client relationships. Her consistently positive attitude, organisational ability and work ethic ensures she achieves the very high standards her clients and candidates have come to rely on.

Nalinee started with Madison in 2007 and moved into a Para Consultant role after four months. She earned her recruiting stripes by screening candidates, managing advertising, interviewing and reference checking job seekers. Nalinee is now Consultant in the volume recruitment team, and both contributes to as well as benefits from, the team environment and strong sense of camaraderie. Nalinee holds a BCom from the University of Auckland where she majored in Marketing and Management.

As a member of the business support recruitment team, Deanne interviews candidates for temporary and permanent opportunities and assists throughout the whole recruitment process. With plenty of opportunities to utilise her customer service skills, this role perfectly suits Deanne’s energy and enthusiasm. The team appreciates her can-do attitude and helpful attitude. Deanne joined Madison after working in the finance industry and has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Sociology and Education.

Justin is a graduate from King’s College London and worked for a leading travel company prior to recruiting in the financial services sector for eight years. Justin joined Madison in 2006 and together with his team, is responsible for total quality assurance by introducing The Madison Group's capabilities then ensuring uniform service delivery across our various service offerings. Sociable, articulate and always up for a challenge, Justin thrives on the fast paced and people-focussed nature of recruitment.

Talia works as part of our talented and efficient accounts department, another valued 'backbone team' member. She is responsible for a very large temp payroll across The Madison Group, and it's associated invoicing. In addition she handles several queries daily and does so with patience, helpfulness and good humour. Talia joined Madison after working in a variety of accounts and purchasing roles. She is a quick learner, has huge attention to detail and remains incredibly focused under pressure.

Originally from Scotland, Arlette worked in the airline and recruitment industries overseas before joining Madison in 2004. She was initially a temp recruiter, twice winning the Madison Temporary Controller of the Year title in both 2005 and 2006. Arlette then specialised in accounting and finance recruitment prior to maternity leave. She now recruits a wide variety of temporary and permanent roles and with her incredible memory, ability to build rapport and strong drive, delivers the very best for her clients.

Matt gained five years experience in agency and internal recruitment in Amsterdam where he was responsible for hiring IT, trading, finance and support personnel up to board level. Originally from Christchurch, Matt has returned to New Zealand and has settled in Auckland with his family to join the CBD team at Madison Recruitment. Matt is an excellent communicator, and a high achiever who is able to quickly ascertain the needs of his clients. He has a degree in Psychology from Canterbury University.

Angelica is originally from Brazil but has lived and worked in various European countries. With experience across different industries, she brings a passion for sales and account management. Angelica enjoys the Madison Way of recruitment as it proves that it is possible to maintain a personal approach in a fast-paced market. Angelica is always keen to exceed expectations, and is a proactive and bubbly addition to the team. She holds a Bachelor in Business.

Prior to joining Madison, Melanie temped in the UK and in Auckland through Madison Recruitment. As a temp, she appreciated the regular contact from the Consultants and found them extremely approachable. Melanie is now able to delight our candidates and clients in a similar fashion with the Madison Way. She keeps everything under control and is an invaluable support to the branch. The team appreciates Melanie for her organisational ability, friendliness and efficiency.

Katrina returned to New Zealand in 2010 and Madison quickly added her to the team, benefiting from her dedication and approachability. She had a taste of recruitment whilst overseas where she worked as a Para-Consultant for an agency in the UK. Prior to her O.E. she worked for five years in the insurance industry as a Risk Underwriter then in the sales team supporting key broker relationships. Katrina is currently studying extramurally towards a Bachelor of Business Psychology through Massey University.

Mychelle has a Masters in Industrial and Organisational Psychology obtained from the University of Canterbury. New to Madison Recruitment in 2010, Mychelle has a history of internal recruitment, sales and customer services in both Christchurch and Auckland and is excited about dedicating her knowledge entirely to Madison. With a passion for people, she prides herself on her ability to establish solid, lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike.

As General Manager, Fiona exemplifies the same motivation and dedication that saw her enjoy a successful career as a teacher before she moved in to recruitment. Fiona manages the South-East branch and with previous experience working for a global consultancy across a range of sectors, Fiona is well able to guide her team to continued success. Initially joining Madison in 2006, Fiona fosters a strong team spirit and focuses on quality of service delivery. She is an excellent trainer and is well respected by all.

Clare demonstrates great tenacity, a true team spirit, and is clearly passionate about what she does. This shows through in everything she does, and is truly appreciated by candidates and clients alike.

Michaela joined Madison in 2008 after four years in the property and construction industries, during which time she completed her Real Estate Licence for Property Management and managed a portfolio of 75 residential properties. She also has extensive experience in frontline administrative roles and enjoys the people contact that working in recruitment brings. Michaela is accustomed to a fast paced role where no two days are the same, and tackles her day whilst remaining calm in all situations.

Kathryn joined us in 2009 after completing a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Canterbury. Prior to this she worked in the finance and insurance sector as a Case Manager and Office Manager. Kathryn has quickly excelled recruiting and managing a team of temps for a large telco client. Her colleagues hold her in very high regard for her willingness to assist, her positivity and ability to build relationships. She is an excellent all rounder, always thinking ahead and ensuring the branch runs smoothly.

Phil began his recruitment career whilst overseas in the UK. After two years working within financial and accounting recruitment, he returned to NZ looking for a company 'that exhibited a huge commitment to provide exceptional service to clients and candidates’. Prior to recruitment Phil worked together with community groups and council to provide youth programmes and events in the local area. He leads the branch by example with his positive attitude, excellent relationship building skills and humour.

Catherine is an accomplished recruitedr with more than five years of experience in both agency and internal recruitment. This coupled with her work experience in the accounting and legal sectors means she has an excellent understanding of the requirements of professional services recruitment, enabling her to deliver over and above expectations. Catherine joined Madison in 2008 and now as Branch Manager, sets the pace with her energy and drive.

Rosa joined Madison in 2008 and handles temporary and permanent administration and support recruitment. A graduate with a Bachelor of Sport and Management degree, Rosa has previously worked in event management, including working with the Hamilton 400, V8 Supercars as well as being involved in events for Red Bull and assisting with Balloons Over Waikato, along with other local sporting organisations. Rosa thoroughly enjoys her close knit team and the fast paced life of the recruitment environment.

René has experience recruiting across the commercial, industrial, trades and technical sectors. Before joining Madison in 2010 he set up a branch for an industrial recruitment company and had also managed a branch for a global staffing provider. Prior to that René held senior roles in the retail and government sectors. He has a BA (Hons) from Massey University and a Post Grad Diploma in Management Studies from Waikato University. René operates with enthusiasm and passion, and nothing leaves him unfazed.

Originally from Canada, Andrea relocated to New Zealand in 2007 and has quickly become an integral part of our Hamilton branch since joining us in 2008. In her role as Branch Administrator, Andrea ensures the smooth running of the office and provides invaluable administrative support to our consultants. With seven years past experience in the hospitality industry, Andrea is adept at welcoming Madison clients and candidates and making the recruitment process enjoyable for all concerned.

A UK Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IMechE, Simon holds a BE from Auckland and an MBA from Parisian Grande Ecole ESCP-EAP. His background includes Principal with the Boston Consulting Group, GM Strategy and Marketing at TVNZ, founding MD for nzcom.com, and Vice President with Rubicon. Simon is either a current or former board member of companies including Metrowater, Fletcher Challenge Forestry Argentina, Play it Strange Trust, the Institution of Professional Engineers and Radio bfm.

Simon has significant commercial experience, having begun his career in FMCG sales and then set up a food production business in the early 1990’s. Simon grew sales and profitability significantly, opening new retail sites, developing a specialised manufacturing facility and negotiating significant commercial supply agreements. Simon has been a director of several NZ businesses and Chairman of the Alumni Advisory Board of The Icehouse. He works in a consulting capacity with a number of private companies.

Mark is the founder of Lowndes Associates. His 29 years of commercial law practice commenced with Simpson Grierson and has included a period as in-house counsel for a multinational oil company, with involvement in international commercial matters and government affairs. He has held various company directorships. Mark led the legal work on over $450 million of M and A activity in the year prior to the GFC. Mark has participated in trade missions and is active in a number of international trade organisations.

Nothing is too much trouble for Katie - she is reliable, organised and welcoming; traits that give our Welllington team the confidence that everything is under control. Katie has wonderful people skills, is resourceful, meticulous and works well under pressure - attributes which were well developed when she worked as a product, portrait and events photographer overseas prior to joining us in 2010. Katie has a Bachelor of Design (Hons) from Massey University.

Diane has a varied work history that has seen her move her career from New Zealand to London, home again and then on to Melbourne, and back again to Aotearoa - Diane thrives on the challenge of a fast paced, competitive recruitment environment. She has gained very useful experience prior to Madison working in various roles for Coca-Cola, L’Oreal and a training organisation. Since joining Madison in 2007, Diane has recruited in administration support, sales and junior accounts roles.

Rachelle joined the Madison Wellington team in 2009. She gained a Bachelor of Applied Hospitality and Tourism Management and worked her way up into sales for leading hotels. Rachelle entered the recruitment industry with many transferrable skills that helped to launch her recruitment career with a bang. Quietly determined, she brings lots of energy to her team, complementing her warm personality. Rachelle manages a very high volume of temps whilst keeping the plates spinning in permanent recruitment.

Louisa was the first member of Madison Wellington, joining us in 2003. It is her outstanding communication skills and passion for recruitment that has contributed to her success, recruiting across sectors and up to a senior level. Louisa comes from a varied and fascinating background including working in the animated film industry, in design as an Advertising Manager, and throughout her extensive travels she taught English. Louisa loves recruitment because it combines all the experience and skills she has gained.

Mariska joined Madison in early 2010 having previously spent eight years in the recruitment industry in South Africa, the United Kingdom and the last four years in Wellington. Her recruitment experience covers Contact Centre, Business Support, Education and Executive level recruitment. We are pleased to have her on board as our Wellington Branch Manager. Mariska is already adding value with her work ethic, diligence, values and commitment to people.

In 1999, Vicki began her recruitment career in the Wellington market predominantly in the public sector space. Her experience has encompassed the end to end process in both permanent and professional contractor recruitment. Vicki is driven by her commitment to quality, and it is her proactive style and professionalism that has resulted in a positive reputation amongst clients and candidates. Vicki also holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration from Victoria University.
