Madison Recruitment has been the primary supplier for high volume recruitment projects including Kiwisaver, Working for Families and the Northern Processing Centre. Their responsibilities encompassed: design of talent attraction strategy, media placement, sourcing and selection, management of applicant response, reporting across a range of performance metrics, candidate source and media effectiveness. A project manager was assigned as a key point of contact and kept us continually appraised of our progress to meet quite challenging deadlines.

During my role as Customer Services Manager for Auckland District Health Board (ADHB) I was responsible for the Contact Centre. Madison Recruitment successfully pitched and won the tender to assist with the reorganisation, establishment and staffing of the ADHB contact centre, taking it from a manual paper based switchboard service to a fully integrated, computerised contact centre servicing Auckland Hospital, Starship, Greenlane Hospital and National Women’s Hospital. This was a complex process as it involved the restructure of the permanent staff and conversion to a new staffing model with Madison taking on the employment, rostering, hiring and performance management responsibility. In addition, they were responsible for the implementation of all internal procedures for call management including 777 calls (the internal equivalent of 111 emergency calls), reporting of call statistics, and issue resolution.
At all times, I found them to be effective, professional and easy to deal with. They met their contracted responsibilities but more importantly, I found them to be open and transparent. In addition, the value of their contribution far exceeded the “cost” of the service as indeed, the additional support provided was outside of the original scope of services.
