The role:


Due to the substantial growth of our client and the international nature of their business, they are currently searching for an Account Manager to grow and develop opportunities within New Zealand and create new global business relationships and developing new business opportunities.  This role is responsible for managing the business relationships, creating new business opportunities with key stakeholders, on-boarding new clients and maintaining the relationships with existing clients

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Achieve targeted current customer revenue budgets as set within the requirements of the overall company financial and operational goals
  • Manage and cultivate existing client relationships
  • Arrange, cost, quote or prepare and present sales tenders
  • Provide reporting to the business on clients spend and opportunities
  • Ensure client engagement and satisfaction is high, with an element of being able to entertain key stakeholders in a social element and environment such as client dinner/lunches/events
  • Ensure all accounts have a sales and strategic management plan in place

 

The Candidate: 


The ideal person will be a confident, energetic and passionate individual with excellent time interpersonal skills who is motivated to exceed their targets

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to clearly demonstrate past success in B2B direct sales and customer relationship management
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and a commitment to client service
  • Demonstrate a high level of commercial acumen and understanding of how business works operationally
  • Come equipped with excellent presentation and a high level of interpersonal and relationship building skills
