Madison Recruitment are currently seeking Experienced Carpenters for positions Auckland wide.

About you:

You will be ambitious, driven and have the desire to produce quality homes, work as part of a team to produce quality homes across Auckland.

Your new role:

The successful candidates will be responsible for general residential carpentry duties. Aspects of the role will include the below:

  • Follow company Health and Safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment

  • Measure, cut, or shape timber, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials

  • Construct building frameworks, including but not limited to wall studs, floor joists, and door frames

  • Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required

  • Assemble and fasten materials to make framework

  • Build & repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures etc

  • Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level

  • Work on top of stilts, ladders, scaffold, top beams of buildings, etc

  • Report to Project Manager

  • Be a team player


    You will need:

  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience
  • Site Safe would be an advantage
  • Have a strong work ethic & be reliable
  • Provide previous work references
  • Own power tools
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Be open to all aspects of building as well as the mindset of getting the project completed
