Our Client is one of New Zealand’s largest and most successful providers of truck and machinery auctions services, focusing on connecting sellers and buyers within their large and comprehensive marketplace. Due to a strong growth period, they have recently created this role to provide support to the Sales and Project Management team on a National level.

 The Role:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth contribution
  • Generate and qualify sales leads
  • Managing an important portfolio of clients which is constantly growing
  • Attend to all internal and external enquiries including general telephone calls relevant to key accounts
  • Liaise with buyers and sellers and assist with enquiries from the public and dealers as required
  • Sale administration, including sale upload, invoicing, and account sales
  • Assist with managing and coordinating the day to day activities for designated auction streams offsite, onsite and through online auctions
  • Travel both locally and nationally to assist with special projects.

The Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a confident, energetic, and passionate individual with excellent time management skills with a natural flair for sales and building client relationships. We are also open to entry level candidates who have the long-term goal of moving into a Business Development Manager position.  

  • Experience in a similar role in a medium to large organisation or extensive experience within a similar industry
  • Enjoys a Key Account Management role that requires highly talented Farming into existing clients
  • A proven track record in sales and enjoy the challenge involved in pursuing and winning business
  • Able to develop relationships and build rapport with clients
  • Full NZ driver’s license is required for this position
