Accounts Assistant

One of my clients based in West Auckland is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on permanent basis. The role is a Monday to Friday role, the hours are flexible but ideally is looking for someone to work 9am to 3pm.

The ideal candidate must have Accounting Experience in the following;

  • Dealing with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Reconciliations
  • Payroll
  • Stock Control
  • Ability to understand end to end transactions
  • General Ledger
  • Ability to work autonomously

The successful candidate would likely have the following attributes:

  • 2-3 years Accounts Assistant experience
  • Must have MYOB with over 2 years’ experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication ability
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills and an ability to think independently
  • A confident, proactive approach and a positive working style.

The ability to be interactive with clients and colleagues, intelligence, and motivation are also essential for this role.
