Project Administrator

A public sector organisation is seeking someone to help support their fast-moving project environment, which comes with complex and interesting content as it sits within business transformation.

About the role:

This is a fluid space in which the work progresses quickly and changes consistently. Attention to accuracy and detail is of course paramount, but stakeholder engagement and relationship management is a key focus. You’ll be dealing with senior external figures across multiple organisations, so your ability to coordinate and influence will be important.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor, organise & prioritise workflow
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and meetings
  • Manage project logs, including actions, decisions, and dependencies
  • Manage day-to-day operational office duties and delegate tasks to team members as appropriate
  • Promote company objectives and values to wider office
  • Managing the diary of the Project Lead
  •  Build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
  • Taking minutes, agendas and action points

What we are looking for:

  • Public sector experience within the project space
  • Have a strong sense of time management and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Be very proactive in their work, with a real can-do attitude
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to work in a fluid, flexible environment

As a result of internal movements, we are looking for someone to start on contract as soon as possible, through end of June 2021. There is some flexibility whether this is a hourly rate contract, or a fixed-term contract.
