Venue Attendant

We are recruiting for Venue Attendants to join a team ASAP for a 5+ month temporary assignment.

  • Starting ASAP until the end of June 2021
  • 40 hours per week
  • On-the-road office and working from various venues
  • Hourly rate of $22 per hour + 8% holiday pay

You will be the main point of face-to-face contact with customers at various community venues. As the first point of contact for enquiries, payments, and complaints, you will need to provide exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for looking after the venue’s facilities and logging maintenance requests as required. 
Duties include:

  • Scheduling visits with customers and showing them around the venues
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints over the phone and in person
  • Inspecting facilities and ensuring health and safety requirements are met

Previous experience in both administration and customer service, ideally within facilities, maintenance or events would be beneficial along with:

  • A full, clean NZ driver’s license
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent customer services skills with the ability to resolve complaints

 Shift options:
Option 1:**
Mon: 8am – 4.30pm
Tues: 10am – 6.30pm
Wed: 6am – 2.30pm
Thurs: 8am – 4.30pm
Fri: Off
Sat: 10am – 6.30pm
Sun: Off  

**Please note shift option 1 will require you to drive a manual van.

Option 2: 

Mon: 4pm – 12.30am
Tues: Off
Wed: 10am – 6.30pm
Thurs: 4pm – 12.30am
Fri: 4pm – 12.30am
Sat: 4pm – 12.30am
Sun: Off

Option 3:
Mon: Off 
4pm – 12.30am
Wed: 4pm – 12.30am
Thurs: Off
Fri: 8am – 4.30pm
Sat: 6am – 2.30pm
Sun: 6am – 2.30pm
