Sales Coordinator

We have an awesome opportunity available for those who are interested in a role with a mix of customer service and administration-based responsibilities. You will be working for a growing New Zealand company, with a worldwide customer base, in the technology industry. If you have a can-do attitude, and want to take the next step into a role that encompasses sales, customer service and administration, this could be the ideal position for you. This company will provide you with a friendly, supportive working environment. 

There are 2 positions available, one more senior than the other, with both providing support to the Sales Processing Team. Both roles will aid in the handling of customer orders. The junior position will be more administration based and will progress to include more customer service and communication with internal departments. The senior position will be very similar, however there may be more external communication required. For the right candidate, there will be opportunities to progress into a more sales focused role.

Responsibilities:

  • General administration tasks
  • Managing purchase orders
  • Liaising with logistics providers
  • Customer service
  • Liaising with overseas sales team members
  • Material purchasing

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Some customer service or administration experience
  • A positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Attention to detail

Previous experience in logistics or an industrial environment is not essential, by may prove to be beneficial. Although you will be based in a small team, you will also need to be able to work independently and be comfortable in a quieter office environment.
