Executive Assistant

We are seeking an experienced EA to provide professional executive level support for a large Government organisation.  In this busy role you will be supporting the GM Safety, Health and Environment to ensure the smooth running of their office.

  • 8 week temorary assignment 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Arranging and coordinating GM’s complex work programme
  • Liaise and communicate with a range of key stakeholders and customers
  • Actively manage a busy inbox, recognise critical issues, prioritise and anticipate needs
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing official correspondence requests and ensure deadlines are met
  • Organise travel, accommodation and other commitments
  • Provide administration services, produce high level documentation including presentations 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Solid EA experience in a similar role
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft packages
  • Advanced organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships on all levels
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative to make good judgements 

This role is starting immediately and based in Auckland’s CBD, working standard business hours with some flexibility.
