About the Roles:

The purpose of the role is to be the point of difference by providing optimal service to customers, fundamentally becoming a trusted advisor who is providing value wherever they can.

As Account Manager you will be responsible for sustaining growth with existing clients and building from there. This is a farming role where a proactive approach to account management is required, ensuring the customer is getting the best out of the product while receiving optimal service.

This position will see you marry the correct products to a business to best suit their operational need, as well as educating customers on the functionality of the product. You’ll ensure the customer understands what they are using and why, along with identifying any other issues the customer may be having with their fleet that the products can solve, up selling where necessary.

Day to day you will:

  • Initially, you will learn about the many products and about all the clients that you will be managing
  • Educate customers on any new upgrades and products; presenting reports on how products will positively affect the business, ensuring the functionality is understood by the client.
  • Develop business by growing the number of contacts within an existing customers organisation to ensure many people at all levels of the business are advocates of the product
  • You’ll be predominantly office based; however, you will be required to travel to see clients when necessary
  • You will be dealing with a broad range of customers daily from all walks of life, adapting to all the different personalities will be key!

About You:

As Account Manager you will have proven account management experience with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships. You will have strong capability to adapt your style to suit the customers with the ability to communicate product functionality into plain language. Additionally, you will have the following competencies and skills:

  • Upbeat positive attitude and a confident and engaging personality
  • An active listener with an inquisitive outlook, eager to learn about the products and customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Strong negotiation capability
  • Diligent, keeping systems up to date so data can be tracked
