Medical Administration Coordinator

Monday to Friday
40 hours per week 
 
Day to day responsibilities:

  • Contact patients and book appointments, consultations, and procedures
  • Notify staff of client’s arrival – scan and file patient notes, results, and correspondence
  • Provide helpful information to general inquiries and direct all other queries to appropriate staff
  • Create patient invoices, collect payments, and issue receipts, liaise with health insurance providers to assist patients in obtaining pre-approval
  • Check and respond to incoming emails, open and sort all incoming mail, sort and file all faxes and redirect as appropriate

 
What we are looking for: 

  • A friendly, caring, and professional manner – strong written and oral communication skills
  • Computer literate, intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office Suite – the ability to learn new software packages quickly
  • Able to remain calm and work effectively under pressure
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and advocacy
  • A team player who enjoys helping their team whenever necessary
