With the continual growth and expansion of the business over the last year they are looking to recruit multiple roles across the business units including a hands-on Project Manager to take reign of all upcoming projects.
 
The Role:
The HVAC Project Manager is a pivotal role for the Auckland Head Office. The role works closely with the CEO and the Auckland Service and Installation teams as well as key direct reports in the office.
Focus of the role is to manage the full scope of each project across a very diverse clientele. This includes providing clients with an ideal HVAC design framework solution for their requirements.
 
Responsibilities include: 

  • Management of all allocated projects, cost and budgets
  • Ensure all work schedules and timelines are achieved as agreed upon with clients
  • Maintaining contracts and delivery timelines for projects
  • Manage subcontractors agreements and costs
  • Procurement of materials and equipment for projects in a timely manner to ensure there are no delays
  • Job allocation to internal teams and subcontractors and managing deadlines
  • Estimating and pricing of variations
  • Job costing and monthly progress claims
  • Manage H&S processes, documents and site toolbox meetings
  • Manage project teams across the business divisions as well as direct reports

 
Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in HVAC Project Management & Design work
  • Experience with project management software SimPRO advantageous but not essential
  • Advance excel skills
  • Able to manage multiple teams, subcontractors and direct reports
  • Ability to take lead and problem solve
  • Conscientious team player who can also work autonomously
