After successfully undergoing huge improvements to automating and elevating their customer journey, The business is now poised for significant growth and now require a seasoned sales leader who can take their national sales team to the next level.


About the Role:

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for driving key sales growth and results by providing leadership, strategy support and effective mentoring to the wider sales team across all regions. With strong pipeline management, the National Sales Manager will ensure the continual growth in sales from new and existing retailers through effective pipeline management practice.
 
Key challenge initially will be building the trust and rapport with the close-knit sales team. Long term challenge will be influencing change within the team, creating a positive shift, and taking them on a journey from predominantly Account Management activities to business development-based pursuits.

About You:

You will be able to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge & experience:

  • Change Management – Has had experience successfully managing a sales team going through a similar shift; moving towards more proactive BD activities and away from ineffectual time spent
  • Sales Pipeline Management – Can demonstrate key results achieved through solid pipeline management practice
  • Performance Management & Leadership- Will evidently be a skilled practitioner in getting the best out of salespeople and can demonstrate successful approach on elevating the performance of salespeople, especially if/when they are underperforming.
  • Strong CRM Management – It is desirable for the successful candidate to be skilled in using Salesforce and knows how to utilise the CRM to its fullest potential
  • High Level Rapport Building Ability- Makes a great first impression and is easy to build rapport and gain trust of those around them, colleagues, and clients alike
  • Culture Fit – Is an open, transparent, no-nonsense person who is modern, collaborative and can celebrate the wins
