Business Funding Assessor

We are looking for a practical and logical Business Assessor to join a high-volume team in a temporary capacity. Supporting local businesses within Tamaki Makaurau as we manage the effects of the COVID-19 lockdowns, this role would suit someone with strong business nous. Key duties of this position include:
 

  • Assessing and collating detailed criteria for applications
  • Ensuring guidelines and requirements have been met
  • Liaising with applicants and the wider team regarding a decision on applications
  • Ensure data is maintained to the highest level of accuracy

 
About you:
 
Due to a high volume of workload, you will need to hit the ground running in this position. Ideally having previous exposure to the workings of a business and finer aspects that come with running an SME, you will be able to make judgement calls regarding application approvals and advice funding. Essential skills will include:
 

  • Ability to pick up systems, processes, and guidelines quickly
  • Excellent customer service skills and compassion towards business owners  
  • High attention to detail and ability to cross reference documentation
  • Knowledge and experience regarding the pressures of running a business 
  • An understanding and empathy towards the current market and economic climate
  • Marketing experience would be beneficial

 
The specifics:
 

  • ASAP – End of March
  • $38 per hour + 8% holiday pay
  • CBD location, with work from home flexibility
