Court Administrator

Our client in the public sector is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Administrator to join the team. This is a permanent, full time position requiring expertise, knowledge, and experience to ensure an effective and timely service to stakeholders. As part of a team providing day to day support to multiple stakeholders across the organisation, your ability to deliver service with high accuracy and professionalism will be second to none.

The Role
 
The Court Administrator role plays an important support role in the operation of this organisation. You will provide support to internal and external stakeholders, assisting in the delivery of services across a range of administration functions including preparation and management of documents, handling incoming and outgoing communications, and working collaboratively to meet tight deadlines.
 
Responsibilities include: 

  • General administration to support the smooth running of the organisation
  • Handling customer inquiries and requests for information in a timely manner
  • Managing files and documentation, including typing and formatting
  • Case management, ensuring all document standards are meet and parties involved are kept up to date

 Qualities and skills required:

  • You are an experienced administrator (1-3 years’ experience)
  • Confident in the MS suite
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team

 To be successful you will need to be: 

  • Good at multi-tasking – some processes can be repetitive, but you will be able to manage priorities and juggle multiple tasks. 
  • Have a high attention to detail – Reviewing documents and policies is crucial so you will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be self-aware – understanding a diverse range of customers and being confident to work across a whole scope of different situations.
  • Eager to learn and adapt – Policies and processes are always updating so you will need to be able to adapt and respond to feedback.
  • Resilient – there are times when working in the courts, you will be working on sensitive cases and sometimes at high volume.
