Customer Service Representative (Work from home)

About the role: You will be required to work on multiple campaigns, consistently providing a great customer experience, helping, and supporting customers by identifying their needs and providing solutions via inbound and outbound calls, emails or live chat.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Respond to queries via phone, webchat, and email
  • Initiate outbound interactions as required
  • Attempt first contact resolution or escalate calls when need be
  • Effectively and efficiently use Contact Suite and Knowledge Base 
  • Adhere to call strategies and scripts and demonstrate the call flow process in every interaction
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of campaign products, processes, and requirements
  • Achieve set targets to assist the team in meeting the fiscal year objectives

Start Date: Two intakes – 7th June & 21st June 2022

Days/ Hours: You will be rostered between 30 – 37.5 hours per week.

  • You will need to be entirely flexible between 6am – 11pm, Monday to Sunday
  • You will be required to work both Saturday and Sunday, with up to three other shifts during the week
  • Your shifts will be published 7 days in advanced

About You: To be successful in this role you will

  • Have 1-2 years customer service experience (preferably in a call centre environment)
  • Have clear communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • High level of resilience, self-motivation, and empathy
  • Have effective communication, questioning and listening skills
  • Be a team player and have the ability to work independently
  • Be able to learn and adapt to systems and processes

Work from home requirements: To be eligible for the role, you MUST have

  • VDSL or Fibre connection that meet the minimum speed requirements
  • Minimum upload speed of 20Mb and download speed of 50Mb, Jitter less than 30 milliseconds – you will need to test the speed via https://www.chorus.co.nz/speed-test
  • Desktop PC or Laptop no older than 5 years, running Mac0S 10.15 or higher or Windows 10
  • USB headset, web camera and skype number
  • Up-to-date antivirus software
  • A private, closed off workspace with adequate lighting, access to fresh air and ability to control temperature levels, noise and internet usage
  • A suitable desk and chair where feet can sit flat on the floor or on a footrest (preference is a 5-leg office chair)

Please note, Chromebooks are not supported. You will be required to comply with a H&S assessment / office location check during your assignment to show you meet the above requirements.
