About the Role:
As an Associate Accountant you will be responsible for supporting key business functions. This role is a combination of accounts responsibilities such as processing Accounts Payable, invoicing, reconciliation, and general accounts. Accompanied by management of the inbound accounts mailbox, responding to client queries and internal queries.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Daily account reconciliation
- Complete Accounts Payable processing
- Reconciling NZP consolidated invoices for all clients
- Process and send remittance advices
- Managing accounts mailbox, sort emails, claims or consultancy and send to correct mailbox
- Responding to queries
About You:
You will be able to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge & experience:
- Experience processing Accounts Payable
- Flexibility and ability to think outside the square
- Excellent attention to detail with strong numeracy skills
- Proactive and self-motivated with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to contribute to building the team culture
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
