Commercial Property Manager

Madison Recruitment have been supporting this large public sector organisation with recruitment for many years. They hold a diverse $2 billion property portfolio and they’re on a mission to rejuvenate and redevelop public spaces to create a city for tourists and locals to enjoy. They have two openings for Commercial Property Managers to manage a significant and diverse portfolio comprising retail, industrial and commercial properties across the Auckland region. Operating at senior level, this role is suited to seasoned property professionals with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the commercial property sector and a strong track record of results.

With responsibility for all standard property management functions including leasing, rent reviews/negotiation, Capex and Opex management, you’ll be commercially savvy, a master at building relationships and pride yourself on your communication abilities.

Your background:

  • Substantial property management experience, ideally with relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Law or Valuation
  • Experience in commercial lease renewals, negotiation, rent reviews, tenancy agreements, asset management plans
  • Knowledge of relevant property legislation
  • IT savvy – MS Office applications, SAP or similar ERP real estate/property system
  • High level of commercial acumen with sound judgement
  • Able to work collaboratively but also independently
  • A high standard of work, a positive reputation and resilience

Choose between a 12 month contract or permanent, you’ll be joining an established and highly experienced team of industry professionals, based in modern, well-appointed CBD offices. Hours are full time, Monday to Friday with flexible working and WFH options available.
