KiwiSaver is a voluntary, work based savings initiative designed to encourage New Zealanders to save for their retirement. It’s designed to be a hassle-free way of maintaining a regular savings pattern.

To be enrolled in KiwiSaver you must be a New Zealand citizen, or entitled to live in New Zealand indefinitely (eg. NZ or Australian Permanent Resident). If you are aged between 18 and 65, you will be automatically enrolled into KiwiSaver (provided you are eligible).

As your employer, it is our responsibility to provide you with some information with regards to Kiwisaver. The New Zealand government also has an excellent webpage dedicated to all the ins and outs of Kiwisaver. The Madison default Kiwisaver provider is KiwiWealth. You can also opt in and opt out by filling out the forms.

Please note, if you meet the eligibility criteria and your assignment is longer than 28 days, we’ll automatically enrol you. If you are already a member of KiwiSaver, or on a saving suspension holiday, please complete this form.

All forms must be sent back to payroll@madison.co.nz
